Gogo and Stelios met in Thessaloniki during their studies. After seven years of a happy, joyful relationship they return to the town they love for their wedding. A traditional Greek marriage, at the same time very different. The couple preferred to engage customs from their hometowns. Greece and Cyprus.
The ceremony took place at the Vlatadon Monastery. It is the only monastery of the Byzantine period, 14th century, that still works today in Thessaloniki. You can find it in a beautiful historic area of Thessaloniki, in Ano Poli.
MET Hotel was the reception venue for Thessaloniki’s city wedding. In the first place, the hotel’s roof garden was the couple’s favourite option for the reception overlooking the city’s harbour. The day’s evolution was heavy rain that started after the ceremony. As always we had plan B ready, so we went indoors, in a beautiful ballroom. We lost Thessaloniki’s harbour view, but we gained a wonderful party.
The first thing to remember was that absolutely nothing changes couple’s delightful mood.
To emphasise, wherever positive thoughts come alive, everything goes smoothly.
